| Sono stato un estimatore dei Byrds, ed un grande estimatore dei
Flying Burrito Brothers. Chris Hillman fu membro dei primi e fondatore assieme
a Gram Parson dei secondi. Fu quindi normale acquistare questo disco non appena mi capitò
tra le mani. La Desert Rose Band fu fondata nel 1985 da Chris Hillman; Running fu il loro secondo album del 1988. E’ un onesto e piacevole disco di country-rock che comprende la hit di John Hiatt “She don’t love nobody”, “Running” e un remake di "Hello Trouble" di Buck Owens Però se devo essere sincero, questo disco non è molto impolverato. Infatti ogni tanto, quando ho voglia di sentire dell 'ottimo country-rock, metto su (a tutto volume) “She don’t love nobody”, che è anche incisa come Dio comanda.
